This live stream takes you to Piazza Della Minerva, a square in Rome, surrounded by significant landmarks. The webcam is towards Santa Maria sopra Minerva fai§ade, completed in 1370, the only remaining example of an original Gothic style church in Rome. On the left-hand side of the live image you see the Elephant and Obelisk, an ancient Egyptian obelisk rediscovered during excavations near this place in the 17th century, when it was brought here, to Piazza della Minerva. This is the smallest obelisk in Italy’s capital, with a height of 5.47 meters! Nearby there is the magnificent Pantheon, an Ancient Roman temple, built between 113 and125 AD.
