You can also spot the Cahow, home to one of the rarest seabirds in the world, a critically endangered species though to be extinct for 300 years, when one bird has found in 1951! Nonsuch Island is part of the Castle Harbour Islands Nature Reserve, home to crucial conservation work by the Bermuda Department of Environment and Natural Resource, to preserve and revive the Cahow species. Such work includes the manmade burrows, as well as spreading the importance of preserving the animals and environments on Bermuda, as through the live webcams!
